Market Depth Gateway (MT5)
A Depth of Market for your MT5 symbols without a liquidity provider: the gateway builds a multi-level order book from a plain top-of-book feed, publishes it to the server and confirms client orders at the volume-weighted average price of the book it published. Book shape per symbol from a rule table, an empty book whenever the feed goes stale, and a telemetry record of every fill for disputes.

Depth from any top-of-book feed
Up to 64 levels per side built from a plain price feed; level 1 always equals the tick bid and ask, so the DOM never contradicts the chart.
Book shape per symbol
A rule table sets levels, price step and growth, first-level volume and growth, jitter, volume cap, minimum spread, throttle, trading schedule and markup; the first matching row wins.
VWAP confirmation
Orders routed to the gateway are filled at the volume-weighted average price of the book clients saw, with FOK, IOC and Return fill policies, requotes outside the client deviation and limit prices never crossed.
Safe by construction
Server-triggered requests and stop-outs are always filled; a stale or lost feed, or a closed schedule, publishes an empty book so clients never see depth that is not guaranteed.
Primary and backup feed
Two UniFeed sources with failover on idle; feed symbols are mapped to MT5 symbols with digits, multiplier and offset.
Evidence for disputes
Every request is recorded with the book sequence number and the levels it consumed, plus a per-login decision history and a tagged journal.
How it works

Add the gateway as a module in MT5 Administrator and point the chosen symbols' quote source to it, with a book depth of at least your level count.

Add a Process to dealers routing rule for those groups and symbols, with the gateway as the dealer.

Connect your price feed and fill the symbol map and depth rules; the shipped tables are empty, so nothing is published until you add rows.

Check the status page and the DOM in a terminal, then open the symbols to clients.
Frequently asked questions
Does it work with MT4?
No. MT4 has no Gateway API, so Market Depth Gateway is MT5 only.
Is the depth real liquidity?
No. The book is synthetic and orders are B-book, filled at the VWAP of the book that was published. For A-book routing to liquidity providers, see Liquidity Hub.
What happens when the feed stops?
After a configurable number of seconds an empty book is published; new client requests are rejected by default while server-triggered requests are still filled at the last price.
